Hold your diaries for the GRIDSERVE EV awareness day! At the UK's first fully electric charging forecourt, GRIDSERVE Braintree, the team is hosting an event to help and support local residents in the transition to electric vehicles in the UK. On Saturday 16th July at the Braintree Electric Forecourt, there will be an opportunity to visit the forecourt and to encourage and learn about the simplicity of this transition and view the incredible technology that is increasingly available and affordable.

The day will include presentations on eliminating the myths and removing anxieties, talks to instil confidence and reassurance to many and guidance in making decisions around electric cars.

It will also be a day of FREE test drives in the electric vehicles on site, with the test drives including a tutorial on how to charge the vehicle.

 Tier Electric scooters and Digigo On-Demand travel team is also in attendance to showcase new, sustainable travel opportunities. Award-winning environmental author, Ray Star, will also be there to inspire people of all ages. Bring the family along for a great summer’s day out, learning more and exploring the pinnacle of modern automobile technology. 

We would like to encourage the whole community throughout the day to GRIDSERVE's open house. Presentations are compacted to 1100-1500h, with test drives starting from 0900am.
